- Bill Peckmann received a host of Time Magazine ruffs from Jack Davis. Bill has forwarded them to me for the blog, and he’s added a few final covers with that. It all makes for a fun posting, and I hope you enjoy it.

I own 8 Jack Davis original rough Time magazine covers on TIME’s logo paper for one of the historic Time magazine WATERGATE story.
I received them from the son of Jack’s Doctor who lived in Scarsdale. His son was raising money for his new store inventory and sold them to me. Most feature Nixon and his staff.
The final art, which I don’t have was from Time cover April 18 or 13, 1973.
Does anyone know the value? Some are color, some have more detail than others.
I was offered $1200 each and someone offered $200. I collect his work and chose
to hold on to them.
The ones above are great!
To me, I like to see the artists thinking and concepts.
